Website design for small businesses in Tenerife
The site you show when someone asks what you do. Hand-written, no template and no page builder: it loads fast on a client's phone with two bars of signal and makes clear in five seconds what you sell.

A pretty website isn't the goal
A small business doesn't need a pretty website. It needs whoever arrives from Google or from a link on WhatsApp to understand what you do, trust you and get in touch. Almost everything that gets in the way of that is three things: the page is slow to open, it was built for a desktop when the person looking is on a phone, and the copy talks about the company instead of talking about the reader's problem.
What I deliver is a hand-written site, with no bought theme and no tower of plugins underneath. That isn't a technical preference: a site assembled from other people's parts is a site that breaks when one of those parts updates, and that pays for it in speed every day of the year.
I work from Santa Úrsula for the whole of the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. If you're nearby we meet and the coffee is on me; if not, this works just as well over a video call.
This is for you if
- Your online presence today is a Google listing, an Instagram account, or nothing.
- You have a site from years ago, built on a template, slow on mobile and no longer describing what you actually do.
- People phone you asking the same thing five times a week and you want the website to answer it.
- You need to show something — services, prices, work done — and right now you send a PDF over WhatsApp.
This is NOT what you're after if
- You want to take payments with a cart, stock and shipping: that's an online store, not a website.
- What you need is your team working inside a tool: that's a custom web application.
- You already have a site and the pain is that it's slow: then the first step is an audit, not a rebuild.
What's included
Everything on this list is inside the starting price. Anything that isn't gets said before we start, not on the invoice.
My design system, with your brand
It isn't a bought template: it's the system this very site is built from, fitted to your colours, your logo and your content. It isn't exclusive — another site of mine may share its structure — and that's why it costs half what a layout drawn from scratch for you does. If you want it exclusive, that's the step further down.
Built for the phone first
Designed first for the screen people will actually read it on, then widened — not the other way round. And tested on a real phone, not just by narrowing a desktop window.
Your copy, structured and polished
Send me whatever you have — a voice note, four bullet points, the old PDF brochure — and I order it, cut it down and put it in the site's voice. I don't hand you «Lorem ipsum» waiting for you to «send the content». If you'd rather I wrote it from scratch, it has a price and it's listed below.
Technical SEO from day one
Its own title and description on every page, local business structured data, sitemap, robots, and the tags that make your card show up when the link is shared on WhatsApp instead of a grey rectangle.
A contact form that reaches your inbox
With validation before sending and spam filtering that doesn't ask visitors to identify traffic lights. If you'd rather everything landed in WhatsApp, that's how we wire it.
Three pages
Home, services and contact: the three a small business needs to be found, understood and written to. Each extra page is €180, and I tell you before we start, not on the invoice.
Legal pages included
Legal notice, privacy policy and cookie policy with your details and the clauses Spanish LSSI and GDPR require. It's the first thing an inspection looks at and the last thing a rushed website tends to have.
Speed measured, not promised
Delivered at Lighthouse 90+ on mobile, and I show you the report. If it drops a month later, we look at it: speed is a number, not a first-week promise.
How it works
The usual process, told for a website: you know at any moment where we are and what comes next.
011–2 days
Discovery
We talk for a good half hour. Who buys from you, what people ask you on the phone every week, what happens if this goes well. That's where the pages you need — and the ones you don't — come from.
023–5 days
Design
You see the structure and the visual direction before a line of code exists. Changes happen there, where changing something costs an afternoon rather than a week.
031–2 weeks
Build
Built with real copy and your photos, on a staging site you can open whenever you like to see how it's coming along.
04ongoing
Launch and support
Domain, certificate, email and deployment. I hand over the accounts and an explanation you don't need to be technical to follow. After that I'm still here for tweaks and questions.
What it costs
A fixed price, not a «from». Three pages, my design system and your copy put in order: that's what the price above buys, and there's no different number waiting for you at the end. What's below doesn't make this project dearer — it turns it into a different one, which is why each carries its price.

What turns it into a different quote
- Full site, €2,400: five pages, an exclusive design drawn from scratch for you, and every word written by me.
- Extra page, €180 each.
- Me writing the copy from scratch, €350.
- Being able to edit the content yourself, €400: a CMS gets wired in.
- Second language, €450: a bilingual site is almost two sites' worth of copy.
- Google Analytics, €150: it forces a cookie banner and its configuration. Cookieless analytics needs no banner and costs nothing — which is what I'll be recommending.
- Photography, bookings or a payment gateway: quoted separately, case by case.

And if you don't know what site you want yet?
There's a step before this one: a single page instead of three, in 3–5 days at a fixed price. The same design system and the same care; the only thing that changes is how much fits inside. It gets you online now, shows you what customers actually ask, and lets you decide the full site with data instead of guesses. Move up to it within twelve months and what you paid here is credited in full.
Questions I always get
How long does it really take?
One to two weeks of work from the moment you approve the design. The real calendar depends on one thing only: how long it takes to have copy and photos. Once those exist, this moves fast.
Who writes the copy?
At this tier you bring it and I make it presentable: a voice note, four bullet points or the old brochure all work. What I do is order it, cut it down and put it in the site's voice. If you have nothing and would rather I wrote it from scratch, that's €350 more — and it's usually the best-spent money on the site, because writing is exactly the task that leaves projects parked for three months.
Is the site mine?
All of it. Domain and hosting are in your name with your credentials, and the code is yours. If one day you want to move it or have someone else take over, you leave with everything and without asking me.
Can I change things myself?
Yes, if we decide so before starting: a CMS gets wired in and you edit whatever we made editable. If you don't need it, we leave it out — a CMS nobody opens is extra weight and one more door to keep locked.
Do I need maintenance?
No, and I won't sell it to you. A site like this has no plugins that break on their own, so it can go years untouched. For the odd change there's a 4-hour block for €160 that expires after twelve months: you pay for what you use instead of carrying a retainer nobody touches. Monthly maintenance I keep for stores and applications, where there genuinely is work every month.
Why not WordPress?
Because for a five-page site it's an enormous machine for the job: a database, plugins to update and an attack surface to watch. If your case does call for WordPress — a blog with several authors, say — I'll tell you and we'll build it on WordPress.
Will I rank first on Google?
That can't be bought or promised: it depends on your sector's competition and on time. What I do guarantee is the part that's down to me — that the site is fast, crawlable, understandable to Google and properly placed on the local map. The rest is content and consistency, and we can talk about that too.
Shall we talk about your site?
Tell me what you sell and who to. In the same conversation I'll tell you whether this is what you need, what it would cost and how long it would take. If I'm not the right person, I'll tell you that too.
I usually reply within 24 hours
